River Hill Arts is Andrea Bonney Gould’s creative space to build community, connections, and nurture artistic energy. Art is used to explore how the personal, social, and political affect our lives as individuals and a community. In this space art becomes a tool for beauty, calming the mind and developing different ways to express opportunities for social and political change.
As a mixed media artist, Andrea Bonney Gould combines mediums and techniques that include ink, acrylic, oils, spray paint, collage and printmaking to discover the energy of line, space and color to create work that touches on isolation, connection, joy andfrenetic energy.
Born in Jersey, brought up in historic Concord, MA, currently living in outside of Boston.
A love of making art coupled with a sometimes too-practical mindset landed Andrea at Syracuse University receiving a duel-BA in Political Science and Art.
Andrea's adult life has been grounded in and around Boston, MA where she has created a career that merges art, design and business while her home life includes her husband, two daughters, rescue dog, and five chickens.
